What is a Health Coach?

As your health coach it is my job to help you achieve your personal health and wellness goals. Let’s make it happen! I provide a level of accountability that will hold you to the goals you set in place and help to motivate you to keep you going. During our sessions together, we work together to figure out what’s working and what’s not and get to the root of any obstacles you might face so you stay motivated on your journey.

ACCOUNTABILITY. If all it took to be healthy was reading a book, or following a diet plan, then we might all be in perfect health by now. But that isn’t how it works, right? Life gets in the way, and excuses begin to take over. I’ll start Monday, there isn’t enough time, or you miss one day and fall away from your plan entirely. When working with a health coach, there is an accountability factor in place. If you tell me you’re going to do something and know I’m going to ask you about it in two weeks, you’re more likely to follow through. I will hold you accountable and with the power of together we will achieve your goals.

SUSTAINABILITY. The truth is, diets don’t work. Lifestyles do. Following a strict health regimen temporarily will only improve your health temporarily. A health coach helps you make small adjustments throughout your program to create sustainable habits that last a lifetime.

A health coach can help you work towards results in a way that best suits you. By getting to know you and your health history, a health coach helps you adopt a health and wellness plan that works best for your body and your life.

SUPPORT. With so much information out there about diet and health, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. A health coach can help you sort through the information and help you answer any questions you have regarding health. Together we figure out what’s true for you through my knowledge about health and wellness.
